I'm surprised to read reviews of this restaurant complaining about horrible food and bad service, as my experience was totally the opposite.
The restaurant is located in a quiet little plaza, upstairs. decor and atmosphere are great.
I found the waiters attentive and helpful and very polite. The food was to die for! Starting with the sweet potato bread rolls. The four of us had entrees, main and desserts and were disappointed by none of our delicious choices.
Recommend the alpaca tartare, and pisco sour.
If you're looking for hamburher and chips... go elsewhere. But for excellently prepared peruvian dishes you need look no further! Bon apetit!

Location, decor, staff, food, and everything else about this amazing restaurant is first rate. From the moment we arrived we were treated as though we were the only guests and certainly as though we were special. My friend and I decided to split everything so we could taste more and we were made to feel brilliant for our decision. The wine list was excellent and the staff knowledgeable. As the evening progressed we realized we had a well managed team of servers seamlessly creating a perfect dining service. The potato bread well worth any carbs, though it was so lite it seems to melt in your mouth. The local favorite Solterito salad was bright and the perfect start. The appetizer of shrimp rolled in eggplant a revelation and the Marguerita pizza sublime. The beef with rustic potatoes of varying types was presented to us on two lovely plates. So thoughtful. The chocolate souffle was a tad overdone but when paired with the delicious vanilla ice cream it made for a lovely finish. We broke our splitting here and added the lemon dessert which was perfection. Don't miss out, don't forget to make a reservation and arrive hungry we an outstanding dining experience.

Wonderful food. There were four of us and we shared entrees. Delicious.
Our server seemed to think we should be serving him as he was haughty and not helpful at all. We probably would go back.

We had really great food here. All with native ingredients. Perfect combination of flavors. Great staff that is very helpful with explaining the menu and tell you what's on your plate. Very good experience. Worth the extra soles but still cheap compared to Europe or US for this quality of food.

Try the suspiro for dessert! Oh my Buddha!!

We went for lunch while staying in Cusco and absolutely loved it! The food was great, drinks were great, service was great. I would definitely return to this restaurant. This is a can't miss spot in Cusco.
