“Chi cha cusco sad experience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

Experienced Chi Cha in ACP so went to Cancun with equal expectations...was sadly disappointed with food atmosphere and service! Would suggest giving the place a miss, unless you like heavily salted and rather tasteless food and perhaps head to Museo Artes Precolumbian restaurant! We were not the only sad clientele, north Americans at table beside us disappointed as well!

“Delicious Peruvian food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

Wonderful dining experience at Chi Cha. Wait staff was attentive, and the food was delicious.
Booking is essential at the restaurant.

I wish we hadn't waited until our last night in Cusco to try this restaurant, as I would have eaten here again.

“By far the best meal of our trip to Peru!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

My brother and I had dinner here in October 2011. Reservations are essential as we tried to dine here the evening before but were turned away. The atmosphere and cocktails are great. For dinner, we started with the mixed potatoes and glazed guinea pig crepes. Both were delicious. Our entrees were the pumpkin agnolloti and beef cheek. The agnolloti was actually one of the best pasta dishes that either of us have ever tried (and I've traveled through several parts of Italy). The beef cheek was nothing short of perfection. For dessert we had the pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate crepes, which were both excellent. Not only was this the best meal of our trip, it was one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere.

“Nice treat - great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012

Very good Peruvian food in a nice and atmospheric setting. Booking essential, as one day we tried to book at 10am and there were no tables left for that evening. Large round tables for bigger groups. Attentive service, but still felt relaxed and not rushed to free up the table.

Food interesting and we had some dishes that we had heard were Peruvian but not see on other menus. By far my favourite was the Pachamanca, which is a stew of different meats, potatoes and beans with a delicious flavour. It is traditionally cooked on hot stones and underground, but however they cooked it in this restaurant it was just outstanding. Only regret was not being able to finish it because I had ordered potatoes as a starter!

Meal was more expensive than most restaurants but worth the extra.

“Local cuisine with a modern twist”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2012

This restaurant is probably one of the only high end restaurants in Cuzco. Proper wait staff paired with a shiek decor. We had the "cebiche" and honestly it was not the ceviche that we were expecting. The Peruvians seem to pair the Cebiche with large kernals of corn instead of chips like im used to. The fish was fresh. Their tamales on the appetizer menu was very good.

We also ordered the Adobo, it was like a pork stew with you choice on how much spice.
The onion soup was very good.

It's a restaurant that you must try while you are there
