We stayed with a group of 6 friends in the Koyllur Hotel for three nights. The first day we arrived at 4 30 am due to the early arrival of our night bus. We could relax in the reception until they started serving breakfast at 5 30 am. The breakfast is on the 7th floor with a great view of Cusco city. The rooms were nice: clean, comfortable beds and quiet. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect, quiet neighbourhood and 10 min walk to the plaza de armas. We did the salkantay trekking and could leave our luggage in the hotel, safely stowed away.
Price - quality a very good deal!

Very well presented property in quiet location a few blocks from Plaza De armas.
Good buffet breakfast. The restaurant is on the 6th floor and has views over the city. The sheep hot water bottles are very welcome on the cold nights.

This is a tale of two failures. One is booking.com where we reserved a junior suite and the other is the obvious lack of care these folks take in looking after their hotel.

When we arrived and advised we'd booked a junior suite they gave us a key to a room that was so small you couldn't swing a cat. Sure it had a king size bed but you'd be hard pressed to get in it from either side there was so little clearance. The space from the foot of the bed provided for one chair and if someone was sitting in it you'd be walking over their legs to get past. The room also smelled of cigarette smoke. I complained to the front desk and they agreed to put us in another room.... however all they had left was rooms with two singles. Fine, I'm not on my honeymoon so that will do.

The room they gave us was much bigger than the 'suite' we'd abandoned. Go figure. It was also cheaper as I found out from my daughter who was staying in the same hotel with her friend. She had an identical room and was paying less than my wife and I.

Enough about that. Our room had one chair and a coffee table. There was a small bench that was broken at one end so you couldn't sit on it. There is a ventilation shaft with a window accessible in the shower. There was a portable heater in the room that didn't work. The closet had 3 hangers. Some of the light bulbs needed replacing. Because of the ventilation shaft you can hear everything that's going on in the other 6 floors that have access to the same shaft. Only positive is that they bring you a hot water bottle at night in a lamb skin... whoopy-do

Room Tip: Don't book a junior suite... they don't exist

Stayed here for three nights as part of a tour. The hotel generally is nice with the exception of some rooms which are small and with no ventilation. The dining hall is on 7th floor which offers great views of Cusco city. Internet is crap in rooms, only works in lobby and on tge seventh floor!
Location is nice, walking distance to the plaza!
Good place if you want to feel the Incan vibe around!

We stayed here as part of our Intrepid tour. It was a pleasant and clean hotel, the breakfast area on the 7th floor has an amazing view. We loved how they put little sheep hot water bottles in your bed in the evenings, and it was handy that they provided complementary teas including Coca tea in the reception area to help with the altitude.
