The food is delicious and we ate here three times during our stay in Cusco.
Tonight we ate again and paid in cash, and the waiter brought back one of our 100 soles bills and said it was fake. We were shocked, but could clearly see it was a fake bill. We didn't understand how it could have happened, given we had just withdrawn the bills from an ATM. We gave him a different bill, and left the restaurant.
After we left the restaurant, we took a closer look at the fake, and realized it was worn and creased, while all the 100s we had withdrawn were perfectly crisp and new. Our only possible explanation is that the switch must have occurred after he took the bills back to the kitchen. This is a nice restaurant, and we love the food, but we can't explain it in any other way.
