Owner description: Enjoy the beautiful Andean landscape of Peru on board of a luxury and magical way to travel between Cusco and the Lake Titicaca. Travelling in the PeruRail Titicaca Train is a unique experience, a route between mountains, clouds, snow-capped mountains and puna finishing in the majestic Lake Titicaca. Its coaches involve you in an environment extremely decorated with the elegant style of Pullman trains of the decade of 1920. Its tourist shows, the 5-fork lunch, dining cars, observatory-bar car outdoors, among other attractions.

Rather expensive, but don't miss this unique experience. This beautiful train brings you in 10 hours from Cusco to the city of Puno on the shores of lake Titicaca, reaching altitudes of 4200 meters. Amazing.

Not accustomed to luxury train travel, I may be overrating this trip- but, we enjoyed the comfort, entertainment( how to make a pisco sour like a local) and the spectacular views. If they could ensure the meals were hot when revved it would have been perfect!

This was worth every penny. Wonderful service, dining experience and entertainment. The views are breath taking on the train, the observatory a great place to hang out- I thought a great way to travel across Peru and not an every day experience

The trip from Cuzco to Puno is 10-hours, but it can be made to seem much shorter on this train. Lots of on-board entertainment, great three-course lunch, Pisco Sours and awesome views of the backbone of the Andes made the trip very enjoyable. Be prepared for the thin air at these high altitudes!

I booked a one way trip from Cusco to Puno online for one person. The train ride was very beautiful and first class all the way with great service. The price is a little high probably due to the fact that there are no other companies at this time that offer a service like this. The main problem that I have with PeruRail is that they double charged my credit card for the trip. I have sent emails with no reply. Also they have a complaint book link on there website that doesn't seem to work. I would recommend that anybody that wants to use PeruRail to buy their tickets with cash and not to use a credit card as I have read other complaints with people having similar problems seeking reimbursement. Otherwise this would be a 4 to 5 star review.
