Description: The power of the Pachamama, or Mother Earth, is displayed on the dining tables of PACHAPAPA in the form of the noble foods with which she regales us. Like a ritual pulsing with energy, mealtime becomes a revelation as the aromas of the Andes waft out of the earth oven in the central courtyard, or our slow-cooked dishes emerge from clay pots, infused with generous flavors. Rustic and rural, PACHAPAPA is located in an old mansion in the traditional neighborhood of San Blas, or T'oqokachi, across from the Church of San Blas, the oldest in Cusco. Offering traditional dishes from Cusco and more, in an atmosphere that pays homage to the region’s customs, art, and mystique, local handicrafts and cuisine that have been passed down from generation to generation are now ready for the spotlight on the international stage. Come to Pachapapa and discover the gifts of this magical earth and the flavors that forge our local culture. We hope to see you soon.

Overall very nice place with typical Cuzco decoration. We sat in one of the inside rooms but you can also use the inner courtyard with very cozy ambient (a little bit cold at night). Before meal they serve freshly baked bread from their oven. Service was attentive and friendly (which is not very common in Peru), food was very good. Prices are slightly higher but it is worth to come here once during your stay - especially for the atmosphere.

Really really nice atmosphere here, the outdoor seating is a beautiful place to sit and eat but the inside is very nice too. I ordered the pork adobo stew which was absolutely delicious, a really really tastey dish. This has to be higher on the list of top restaurants in Cusco. It is a really really nice, warm, cosy restaurant with great service and really really good food. For sure if you´re out and about looking for somewhere to eat, this place is well worth the visit. For vegeterians however, there is not many options..

This place was just down the street from our hotel and came highly recommended. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was great...inside the courtyard with the giant oven in the middle. Our entrees were outstanding, and we had some nice drinks too. This is a must do if you are in Cusco!

We showed up early for lunch one morning and were the only customers there. They weren't really ready for lunch but they served us a great lunch anyway. The chicha morrado was very good. This was also the first place I tried chulpi which is a dry roasted corn. It was so good. The chicharones were great also.
