We've been to oCacao Chocolate everyday and sometimes twice since we've been in Arequipa. The chocolates are great, the desserts are yummy, and the owners are so nice and helpful. We absolutely loved this place.

This was such a delightful find in Arequipa. Their coffee is perfectly made and the chocolates are fantastic. The owner is a formally trained Belgian chocolatier. Given South America is the birthplace of cocoa you end up with a great place to sample delicious chocolates and relax.

The owners are great as well and gave us tips on what to see in Arequipa. Needless to say, we came back for some truffles to go before heading to the airport.

Probably the best truffles I've ever had. They are made by Mark, the owner. He is from Belgium and sources his chocolate from there. His wife makes the cookies and pasteries. Wonderful hot chocolate and coffee. Not fancy, one block to the south of the square. Worth a visit.

We popped in here for a hot chocolate, which was delicious, and left with a bag of handmade chocolates. These included two pisco sour chocolate cups - this guy knows how to make chocolate. Run by a Belgian man and his wife (who is responsible for the great looking baked goods), it's really worth a visit.
