“A gem!”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

We wandered into the Casa de Moral the afternoon we arrived in Arequipa, and liked it very much. It's a good opening act for the Monasterio de Santa Catalina, and has a great room of early maps of South America. Tickets are very reasonable, and the place is beautiful.

“Amazing”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Lovely old house full of great art..... Amazing lack of security (especially as it owned by a bank). A great glimpse into the past of Arequipa.. Cheap entrance...

“Best with Guide”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

You need the guide at the entrance to really appreciate this is old house. It`s not very big but has a lot of original features and furniture bought by its last owner, the British counsel.

“Best of the Casas”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Beautifully furnished and mostly restored, this great old casa/mansion is easy to find, and only about 45 minutes to get to know. Interesting family history included in the tour. Especially check out the dining room's cupboard, very unusual.
