My family and I went to this Picanteria in the Yanahuara district in Arequipa after reading the review in Lonely Planet. The place is filled with local people mostly family as we went there on Sunday. The food was really and came in big portions so please be careful when you order. The 4 of us ordered the Special Palomino for S55 which contains variety of food. We also Chupe de Camarones (Crawfish Chowder) which costed us S39 and was huge enough to feed the 4 of us. You can take a taxi from downtown Arequipa for around S6 to get to the restaurant. After the meal, you can walk around 5 minutes to the Mirador de Yanahuara for a nice view of El Misti Volcano at the plaza nearby.
