Bargain dinner ser at 7 soles..including large soup, salad, main course tortilla and rice, glass of juice and dessert! Can't complain, plus the owner is very nice. Seems like the restaurant attracts locals young and old as well. Great for vegetarians on a budget and don't mind a more casual and laid back atmosphere.

We really wanted to like this place and had our fingers crossed for an enjoyable experience to take us away from the busy crowded city but we were disappointed. The owners were lovely but the restaurant space was tired and run down and the smog and noise of the street accompanied us throughout the meal. While the ancient peeling ceiling gladly didn't fall into our food, it seemed that decor and menu were decided on and havent changed in as many years. The owner heard our request for healthy and fresh preparations but the food came out as very salty and there was a great deal of repetition amount our dishes (mixed vegetable = chopped carrots and green peas). There are are at least a few great vegetarian places in Peru, we just wouldn't count this as one of them.

I was excited to find a vegetarian place to eat on one of our first nights in Peru. But I later found it really wasn't hard to get a vegetarian meal at other places that were more fresh and tasty.

The place is small and I couldn't decide whether the random thrift store like supplied decor was unique or just depressing. Perhaps if there were a few more people in the place it may have had a different feel. Despite the lack of other customers the service was the slowest we had in Peru.

There was certainly a variety of vegetarian dishes and that was nice to have more choices, but our food was just bland.

A 4-course delicious lunch for 7 soles? A lot of bang for your buck! You won't get an appetizer at that price in most restaurants close to the Plaza de Armas.
