On the recommendation of a Canadian couple, I booked this restaurant just fifteen minutes before arriving there. Fortunately, my hotel receptionist knew I would need a reservation. I can see why - this was the best meal I'd had on my trip around Peru. The restaurant is quite small but has a cosy ambience, and an upstairs area. I had the 'trilogy of meats' - a combination of filet of alpaca, beef and pork - served on a hot volcanic rock. Cooked to perfection! Served with sauteed potatoes and a salad with blue cheese dressing, it was divine. Starters was breads with a selection of flavoured butters which were delicious. I finished off with a dessert of passionfruit ice cream with tiny meringues. Seriously the best meal I've had, and complimented by a nice Chilean red wine.
