“Paradise on earth”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

Probably many peoples have heard about Galapagos , finally I went there last week.i joined the cruise ship called treasure of Galapagos for a 4 nights cruise,
I flew from Quito to Galapagos via Guayaquil , the plane landed in the island Baltra, then transferred by bus to board the cruise ship, the ship has few rooms carry 16 persons.well organized.we cruise from islands to islands ,some are primitive no man's land.only wildlife creatures lives there.
We went snorkeling ,swimming ,hiking, saw groups of sea
lions, penguins, tortoise ,big fishes, marine iguana .we hiked in the island Santa Cruz walk up to the lighthouse. Saw lots of volcanoes craters scattered around. The view is magnificent .
Definitely one should visit Galapagos while in Ecuador.highly recommended.

“Tremendous and most memorable experience”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

This experience lived up to all the rave reviews we had heard from others. The animals, fish and birds were just fascinating --- and not at all fearful of us members of the two-legged species! Moreover the islands themselves are quite spellbinding.

We spent 4.5 days and 4 nights on the Santa Cruz --- exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff; rooms were fine; food consistently looked better than it tasted but we did not go to the Galapagos for a culinary experience!

Finally we really understood and appreciated how the Ecuadorian government tightly controls the islands and what visitors are and are not allowed to do.

Final word of advice --- just go! That said, some trips are very "pricey" --- ours was not and yet we felt good about the ship, the staff, and -- most importantly --- the knowledge level of the naturalists.

“La Pinta cruise review of Galapagos: Fabulous”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

Our family of 3 spent 4 nights on the La Pinta cruise in Galapagos in December 2013. We were extremely happy with the guides, the (small) cruise ship, the itinerary, the food and the facilities. I run a lot, and La Pinta even had a small gym! we would typically two walking trips (morning and afternoon) and two "activities" a day (snorkeling, kayaking). The guides Grace, Carlos, Henrique were excellent and ensured that we saw whattver there was to see. We even saw the elusive owl on one of the islands. All in all, an fabulous trip. Thank you, La Pinta!

“Galapagos 8 Day Cruise - Golondrina Yacht : Tourist Class”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Fantastic experience. I specifically chose Golondrina based on the Itinerary (C). This Itinerary visits the oldest Islands- Floreana, Espanola and also Genovesa and Bartolome.

The days were broken up into two landings and snorkling. There was plenty of relaxation time inbetween theese activities.

One of the best snorkling experiences I have had as swam with Sea Lions, heaps of turtles and many sharks swam below.

The wildlife and landscapes on the Islands is so varied from one to the next. Amazing how different this can be.

Golondrina itself was great for a tourist class.
- The food was pentifull. Except between lunchtime and dinner there is a long wait. Would be nice to have had some fresh fruit available.
- the bathroom floor and fittings (light switches, door handles) need a good scrub.
- fresh towels provided daily which is fantastic
- uperdeck area great for afternoon sunshine and a book, or lower cabin if needed.
- Tea and coffee available throughout which was nice.
- communal area cabin and private cabins were in good condition

- Overall Erics knowledge of the flora and fauna was the important thing.
- If Eric was unable to answer a question, he would come back to you later on with the right answer which was excellent and apprecaited.
- Not the most personable guide and at times snappy with people.

- the majority of travel is done in the evenings so it can be a little rough. The first couple of nights is the worst as you get used to the motion.
- I would suggest bringing travel sickness tablets or patches as a preventative measure.
- No one actually got sick on my trip (15pp). However all had some form of prevention meds.

An excellent experience and I would reccomend and do it all over again.

“Excellent Service”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Galapagos Natural Life did a great job for us. They quickly found an excellent boat in the Galapagos, their lodge in the Amazon was excellent as well. They helped us fill in some time with activities when we arrived and went out of their way to fix a lost luggage problem that was not their fault and that they did not have to do. I fully recommend them!
