“Great Place if You're Feeling Homesick”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

The ambiance at San Sebas is reminiscent of a local coffee shop in San Francisco; which can be a good thing if you're weary from traveling and need the comforts of home. The meals I've had here have been really good, albeit expensive as you're basically paying American prices. Still a great place for a splurge meal and the desserts are the best I've found in Cuenca. My one gripe would be the coffee. While it's a pretty decent cuppa Joe, it tends to be on the weak side. The cappuccino is mostly milk and it's a struggle to actually taste any coffee.

“Great food & Vibe”
Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

Enjoyed a great lunch there today with a new friend we met in Cuenca, I had the burger and it was thick & juicy. My husband had the a pork sandwich that was amazing, nicely marinated or seasoned. I would go back and certainly recommend it to anyone in Cuenca for a nice breakfast or lunch.

“Enough food for a week”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

Very pleasant atmosphere, with nice welcoming staff. Food is good. However, go extremely hungry. Be sure you're a breakfast person. There's enough food to keep you going for the rest of the day.

“A NICE LOCATION WITH A VIEW OF THE PARK WHICH IS RARE TO HAVE A NICE VIEW”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

A menu that appeals to Gringos which is a nice change. The owner is Gringo and very sweet.
Many Gringos find this a comfortable place to call a home away from home.
