This hostel was a good choice especially for the location. The family who runs the hostel is very nice and accommodating. The shared bathrooms could have been a little cleaner (but I guess that has a lot to do with who you end up sharing a bathroom with). There are two well-equipped kitchens available for guest use, which is great, and several different lounge areas, as well as a do-your-own-laundry by hand areas, which is really convenient if you want to save money on laundry. The lounge areas are neat and well-kept, and have a pretty good selection of movies. The wifi is pretty fast if you use it on the top floor. The atmosphere is pretty cool too. The people who stay here, from my observations, are mostly longer-term travelers, which makes the place really laid back and also interesting. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Cuenca and wanted to save money on accommodation.
