“Consistentcy IS Everythng!”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

Mike Sena continues to deliver a great pub atmosphere and great American Eats. The venue has been spruced up gradually and the downstairs patio is getting more use. The hamburger choices are great, patties good and condiments / toppings abundant. The circular sliced fries are a nice change. There is no shortage of alcoholic beverages to choose from and for the new gringo in town, staff handles English well! Other than the steep stairs to this hang-out, the room is worth the trip. You can also catch your favorite televised sports on a multiple screen set-up.

“Best Burger in Cuenca”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

After having some less than mediocre burgers here in Ecuador, this place was my saving grace. They claim to have been voted best burger in Cuenca, and I believe it. $6 nets you a "medium" sized burger with a plate of potato chips. It will fill even the most ravenous appetites. An extra dollar or so will dress up your burger with bleu cheese and bacon, guacamole, all sorts of options.

The draught selection was about what you'd expect for Ecuador. They had all unnamed stout, "saison," and Irish red on tap (negra, rubia y roja, respectively.) I ordered the saison, and what was served to me tasted more like a blonde ale from La Compañía than any saison I've had before. It was...$2 for a small, and $3.50 for a big glass. Not terrible pricing, but also not the best. A nice break from Pilsener or Club however.

Anyways, if you're fiending for a burger, check out Inca Lounge and you wont be disappointed. The service can be a tad dodgy, but maybe I'm just a spoiled American.

“Huge burger, great service”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

There was a group of about 30 of us that met there for a get together. several of us had the medium burger (there are 3 sizes) cooked to order, and couldn't get our mouths around them! The Patio has a great view of Rio Tomebamba,, If you sit on the patio, let them know you are there. Owner is very friendly and made us feel welcome.

“A great view and food to match”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

Had heard about Inca from a local. It is on the side of a hill and takes a little wandering to find the upstairs area. Once there, the staff is friendly, the service good and the beer cold. The place overlooks the river and has a view of the church in Turi, a diamond in the sunlight. There is a small deck for the smoker or a place to sit and enjoy the sounds of the river and a fresh breeze. The burgers are good and the pappas fritas some of the best I have found. A good place to watch some sports and enjoy the down time.

“This place just gets better and better!”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

My husband and I returned to the Inca for dinner last Friday. We hadn't been there in a few months and things have changed. The food is still excellent, but the menu has been extended. My husband had his usual burger and fries, and loved it. I had the new eggplant parmesan plate, which was surprisingly good. I got a large portion of batter-fried eggplant slices on toasted garlic bread, topped with sauce and cheese. We both had large, cold beers to go with our meal. Our tab was still under $20, with tax and tip included. There was a live band playing at 10PM, so we paid an additional $2 cover charge each - but it was well worth it!
