We met new friends at Inca to watch the NCAA finals. It is in an old historic building that is protected by Cuenca's UNESCO World Heritage designation, It overlooks the Tobebamba River, which makes for a lovely view. The seating is sofas and chairs, and it felt like home. The burgers were huge and juicy, the papas frita were crisp, the beer was cold. I loved the laid back atmosphere, and the opportunity to cheer on our USA team was just the best way to spend a Sunday afternnoon. Nachos, cheese and guacamole, 4 beers and 2 hamburgers set us back $15. A terrific experience!

the bar was full of loud, obnoxious drunk gringos. even the owner who was bartending was drunk and obnoxious. if you want to hang ouot with drunken 60 something frat boys, then this is the place for you.

This is a small place right on the river. Good burgers, good prices. This is where I went to watch the Super Bowl and where I'll be going to watch the Daytona 500. Only caution I can give is to be mindful of your surroundings at night. It is off the beaten path and it gets pretty dark around there at night. Michael the owner does do a good job looking out for his customers though!

Dropped by Inca today and wasn't dissapointed. Problem was that we ordered the bigger of the two sizes offered. It was one big burger, actually too big. It was Angus meat, and was done just right. Not many good burgers in Cuenca, but this one is the best we have found so far. Just dont order the biggest of the two, just too much. We also had the Nachos with cheese and Guacamole, they were good too. Scenery is great, and we will go back again.
