There are two of these restaurants in Cuenca. The one we ate at was at Tarqui 11-45 y Mariscal La Mar. We thought it was pretty pricey for Cuenca with the prices seemingly the same as back home in the US. We ordered a Pizza in the 3rd largest size (Familiar). Then, we saw a slice of pizza going to another table. (Pizza can be ordered by the slice too.) Whoops, we goofed. Got the pizza and it was enough for three meals for two adults (we don't eat huge amount of food though).
Anyway, the cheese was great, it had too little tomato sauce, and had great toppings. The crust was good and crispy, and the oregano baked in really gave it a wonderful flavor. On the table, there were shakers for pepper flakes and, you guessed it, oregano.
The staff spoke no English, but the owner (manager?) was very kind and worked with us through any difficulties.
A nice experience and a reasonable price.
