We were recommended by a friend and had a lovely afternoon treat!

The fresh fruit juices were fresh, refreshing and delicious. Made without sugar you have the option to add some if you like.

The black coffee was smooth and deliciously brewed.

We indulged in a few sweet and savoury pastries and were not disappointed in their freshness or flavour! We walked away with a fresh loaf of sourdough bread and 2 cinnamon rolls.

If the Bakings were not impressive enough we were even more surprised when we got the bill and how reasonably priced everything was!

Taita becomes our favorite bakery in Cuenca. We are food lovers and especially bread lovers, and this place makes amazing products. The regular baguette is so good, very crunchy and tasty. We also tried another type of bread and the chocolate croissant, loved it! We didn’t have time to get a coffee or try one of their sandwiches, but we will be back soon!

Super Friendly Staff, Laid back clientele (mix of locals and granola Gringos). Our favorite after breakfast stop. Very close to city center in between Todos Santos Church and Pumapunga so it is a great place to refuel on a museum walk. Just look for the Bicycle with bread in it on the side of the street. The Chocolate Croissant and the "Pizza" Croissant (Mozz, Tomato, Basil and Olive) should make it on to your Cuenca Foodie Bucket list at this little hip joint. Cool art work and also has staff that is knowledgeable about the local music scene.

We found this gem bakery, making there own bread in European style: whole wheat, French baguettes; everything nice, crispy and not sweet (like most bread in Ecuador). Prices are fair, sanwiches are great. And take some croissants whilst there, you'll find a time for them. What a treat!

Coolest bakery I've been in a while. Food and service was great! Large variety of good bread. I must say prices were really adorable. And the music is great too. No bus music here. Thanks!
