We saw the reviews and rating, so went. It's on a street with lots of upscale-looking restaurants. Went inside and it was clean, informal, and local. BUT when we said we were interested in the tasting menu and were taken upstairs, a whole new world awaited. We each got a "passport" with 10 courses, each reflecting a part of Ecuador. The food was done in a playful way (a bit of molecular gastronomy and creative presentation) but outstanding. Enough to satisfy without overkill. The meal with wine/beer pairing was about US$70, and great value for the creativity, service, and quality.
