Part of a group of 11 acquaintances traveling to the Galapagos Islands, we spent two pre-Galapagos nights in Quito at the Le Parc Hotel, where we found the decor somewhat quirky but pleasant. Overall, we were impressed with the location, room accommodations, dining room and staff at the Le Parc. (Among other things, the hotel staff assisted in locating a misrouted piece of checked luggage and readily provided transportation back to the airport to secure the bag once it arrived in Quito; and they arranged on short notice for an excellent driver/guide [Jorge] to take 5 of us to an active archaeological site [La Florida] on the edge of Quito and then to other tourist locations in and around Quito during a long and positive day [that included an excellent lunch at El Crater Restaurant, located on the rim of Pululahua Volcano near Mitad del Mundo]).

Hotel in a very good location. Modern place, close to Quicentro Shopping, and La Mariscal.
Big and trendy rooms, L'occitane ammenities, great Spa and massages.. Nice drinks, excellent restaurant !! Even the elevator seems not to be one of them,..Hotel with good aromas everywhere. Design and nice...a MUST GO !

It was a great place to start our Ecuador vacation but the worst place to end it! It ruined two day of an otherwise amazing trip. Service was polite but vacant. Food was very expensive and mediocre at best.

When we arrived on our way to Galapagos at this beautiful hotel and were looking forward to spending the last 4 days of our vacation there. Unfortunately the hotel is all design and non existent! Our room had no ventilating system and the air was stale and very hot. We could not sleep and found it incredibly uncomfortable. Over the 2 days I asked 6 times to have it fixed, as did our guide, or to have another room to no avail. They told us repeatedly they would fix it but never did. When we asked to chance rooms they told us the problem was with the entire hotel which was an outright lie. I asked twice for a fan to be brought to the room to at least circulate the air but again no service.

After spending hours trying to find another we finally checked out all they said was "thank you very much"

I can't honestly recommend this hotel. There are many other hotels in Quito that beautiful and worth $200 per night!

Stayed here 4 nights (3 prior to leaving to the Galapagos, and then the night before our departure home). This hotel is ultra-modern and extremely comfortable. You must check out the lobby bathroom which is filled with roses! The rooms are large and all very different. Beds are super comfortable. Nice, reasonably priced spa. Lobby bar and roof top bar are great! The breakfast was good and the dinner we had there was wonderful! The staff go above and beyond, providing transportation whereever you want (old town, airport transfers, restaurants!). Room service or anything you needed was available with a smile! When we returned after the Galapagos they offered to check us all in for our flights on-line in order to save us time the next day at the airport. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and believe me, being a travel agent (Journeys Around the World) I am very, very picky. We were a group of 8 and eveyone loved this hotel!

This is a wonderful hotel that bends over backwards to accommodating. Its a stylish with very nice views of the city depending on where your room is located. Our only mishap was on our first nights stay, the previous occupants of our room missed their flight so our room wasn't available. The Le Parc transferred us to the hotel next door (which is a fairly descent) for one night and offered my friend and I free spa treatments.
Its in a good location, there is a shopping mall, park and various restaurants within short walking distance.

I agonized about where to stay while in Quito. What type of hotel, what part of town etc... I am so happy that I settled on Le Parc. It was fantastic. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and this was definitely a 4+. I liked being in Parque Carolina area. It is quieter than some of the other locations and it felt safe. The free transfers to and from the airport were also really nice. There is nothing nicer than getting off a long flight and seeing someone with your name on a card to drive you somewhere! The check in was very seemless quick and relaxed. There are only 30 rooms in this hotel, so it is never too busy. There are 3 rooms on each floor. We stayed on the 12th floor which we loved. Room 1201 was spectacular. A huge comfortable bed with a wall of windows, another area with a couch, desk and another bed, and a beautiful huge bathroom with a rain shower. L'Occitane toiletries. The staff of the hotel were great. Juan Andres who works the afternoon and evenings could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Jorge who did our transfer and who drives for the hotel, was so wonderful we decided to hire him for a day trip to Cotopaxi and Banos. The hotel is very stylish, which is not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. There is a beautiful bar on the roof, the spa was nice and we even got room service one night which was very fast and reasonably priced. The hotel was great about getting us cabs. A cab ANYWHERE in Quito is no more than $5 and usually $3-4, so it really doesn't matter as much as I thought where you hotel is located. For the price (we paid $127 plus tax) it felt like a bargain. I would highly recommend Le Parc

Le Parc is close to the New Quito area so it is convenient to take a taxi anywhere. The hotel itself is fantastic....music playing in the lobby, funky bar and restaurant, and beautiful modern rooms...the hotel itself could easily be in Soho NY. We stayed in a king bed suite, which was huge. There was a bed, a U-shaped couch, and a giant bathroom with a rain shower. The breakfast, which is included in the price of the hotel, was very good - eggs, cheeses, breads, meats, and fresh juice and coffee. The hotel would be better for couples and friends rather than kids. They also drove us to the airport at no additional cost.
