“Wonderful”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

We went up here on our first day in Quito. The cable car up itself was amazing. The altitude is a factor. Or kids ran around a bit at the top and then were feeling not so good. Need to take it slow. Great views over Quito.

“Cable car up Pichincha”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

We went here on our first day in Quito as part of our private city tour. It was lovely riding up in the cable car to see the city down below as well as all the greenery. Once at the top, we looked around a bit but then started feeling short of breath due to the altitude so we didn't stay long. I'm glad we went but if you have other sites to visit, don't worry if you miss this. I believe we paid about $30USD admission (2 adults, 2 children) and spent no more than an hour there in total, including the cable car ride up and down.

“View is Ok but maybe not for the price”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Went on a sunny morning and paid the $8 fare. The trip up was not too impressive. The sight of the city of Quito was not as impressive as the one we got from the other side when we were on our way to Cotopaxi.

“Great Panoramic Views of Quito”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

This is a must visit while in Quito. You will understand and appreciate how the city is laid out. The best time to visit is around dusk, so you can get the view during light, and then wait inside, where there are cafe's and some crazy photo opportunities, and come out again after 6:30 to enjoy the night view of Quito from 4500 meters above!
Also, if you have time, there is a trail, and if you are lucky, you can see llama's!
