“Great Little Museum”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

Very interesting museum, as it was the house of Sucre. Rooms are restored as when he lived there. Free tour (in Spanish)

“Worth visiting if spending a day in Old Quito”
Reviewed April 12, 2011

Located on Calle Sucre near the corner of Venezuela, this is the former home of the Ecuadorean hero and liberator. It is very well preserved to how it looked back when he lived here. The exhibits and military history displays are only in Spanish and our guide knew very little English but she tried very hard to explain the displays to us. If you’re spending a day exploring Quito’s Old Town, it is certainly worth taking the 20-30 minutes to pop in and visit this house/museum.
