Got to la Ronda around 6 pm, no one else was open. We walked into their alcove restaurant, and the restaurant owner personally opened up the restaurant for us when we asked for soup. We were the only ones upstairs, chose a table by the window overlooking la Ronda, with a charming view of the street outside, the street vendors, and the people walking by. The soup was delicious and cheap compared to other places we'd been, and even though there wasn't salad on the menu they threw together one for us when we asked. Afterwards they called a taxi to send us back to hotel. Wonderful and thorough service, and delicious food!
