“Great museum”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

Great visit to this museum. We, luckily, arrived about a little over an hour before it closed. There are some really good cultural exhibitions and pieces, starting from ancient times and making its way up to when the Spanish took over. The more indigenous works are much more interesting than those heavily influenced by the Spanish (obvious bias here). One can only take so many sculptures of saints and a dying Jesus. In any case, it's a great museum covering a long, cultural history. Plus, it's free!

“A free Museum”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

It takes about 3 hours to do it all. Shows the different areas of Ecuador with history of the Inca too. The cost is the best thing going. The Bank pays for it and it is free.

“Banks can be interesting”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We liked this museum for its variety. Especially the money exhibit.
The different bills and coins over the history of Ecuador were very interesting. There was a good representation of art in Ecuador as well
