I stayed at the start and end of a tour and the Hilton provided a nice oasis in the centre of Quito. It is right next to a large park and close to an arts and crafts market for last minute souvenirs. Rooms as expected, large big comfy beds, clean, enough space. Huge hotel building so reception constantly had people coming and going. Free wifi in reception which was a nice touch. Disappointed by the included breakfast which was a small area near reception and not kept well stocked - I had to point out to the staff that there was no fruit, bread, jam when I arrived. Really not what I expect from a Hilton.
Also be aware that although the hotel is in walking distance of some restaurants and bars, we were advised to always take a taxi after about 7pm in the evening.More
