The bikes were ready, and delivered the evening before our departure, allowing us to get an early start. Spectacular route, very challenging and scenic. The bikes were well maintained, and trouble free. I am very satisfied with entire experience.

I rented a 200cc Honda in Quito and took a weekend trip to the beautiful town of Mindo on the Chocolate and Cloudforest GPS tour. It was excellent! The 'ecoroute' was very interesting and easy to follow with the GPS mounted to the handlebars, and there were many beautiful destinations along the way including various waterfalls, nature reserves, and bird sanctuaries.

Once in Mindo I had a great time exploring the town and taking advantage of the great motorbiking roads and scenery.

The bike and equipment functioned perfectly for the two days and the guys at the shop were very friendly and helpful!

Overall a very good experience, I just wish that I had more time!

The owners Sylvan and Court are great guys and they will set you up with routes for you and however many days you have or they have guided tours. The staff are super helpful. The shop is in a good location with lots of nearby hotels. The bikes are clean and in great mechanical condition thanks to their on site mechanic Diego.

My boyfriend and I and two of our good friends headed to Ecuador this past month and this was how we kicked off the trip. My boyfriend was really adamant about riding motorcycles and found Freedom Bike's to be at the top of the list. Not only did he find great reviews but the ease of navigation on their website made it a done deal that they were the place we shouldn't pass up. Emailing with Court to set up our reservations beforehand while we were still in the U.S. was easy and was one less thing to stress about taking up more time once we got to Ecuador. Originally reserving Suzuki DR 650s, we were advised we'd have a more comfortable ride if we upgraded to two Suzuki DL 650 V-Stroms with side saddles for all of the gear we wanted to take with us on our ride towards the Quilatoa Loop (an upgrade we definitely don't regret). Safety definitely came first with these guys, and since none of us brought any riding gear, Court and Sylvain made sure we were equipped with proper helmets, jackets, and gloves before we headed out (something we realized afterwards was a must after riding through gusty winds, rain, and cold temperatures). Sending us off we finally hit the road as we followed the directions Court had set up for us on the GPS we also rented from them (a true lifesaver), once passing through the Quito highways and finally on the open roads the scenery was beautiful as we made our way through the Andes. Taking us a little longer than what the ride was scheduled to be, we are so happy that Court called around beforehand for available lodging at our final destination in Chugchilan. Five hours later, we made it to the Black Sheep Inn an amazing eco-friendly bed and breakfast where we ate organic vegetarian meals (we definitely weren't vegetarian but this was some of the best food we had eaten throughout our whole trip) and went on an amazing hike. After staying there for two days, we headed back to Quito where we drove through more amazing scenery, twisty roads, and was immersed in the smells, views, and culture of the Andean communities along the way. Even though we came back super exhausted, the ride and the service we were given was worth the trip. Thank you Court and Sylvain for kicking off our adventure-filled vacation and making sure we were safe from beginning to end!

Did an eight day run in May. Amazing route and choice lodgings. Only complaint, next time we plan to take a longer ride. Cheers to the guys at FBR.
