“Great home base”

As a first time visitor to Ecuator who speaks little to no spanish, this was a great place to stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff generally all speak english and are eager to please. The food is expensive for Ecuator standards, but generally quite good. It's a great location for exploring the old city, though difficult to access by car if you are intending on travelling to and from the airport.

If visiting Quito again I would not hesitate to stay here.

This beautifully restored hotel is ideally situated for those exploring this wonderful city by foot. The rooms are well appointed, the food very good and the staff, delightful.
La Ronda and the area surrounding the hotel is the historic heart of the city and was once the bohemian home to artists and musicians. The streets have been carefully restored and although a focus for tourism, the approach has been sensitive and authentic.

The hotel is a converted old townhouse with a central courtyard which is now covered by a glass roof. The rooms are large and the facilities are excellent.
The hotel is situated in the old town and although you cannot get transport quite to the door, the hotel staff willingly move luggage from down the street. The location is excellent for the old town and there are many tourist police in the locality.
The food was good and breakfast was efficiently delivered with a good range of items. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: We had 4 rooms between us and all were excellent

This hotel, situated in the old part of the city, has been beautifully restored and is a lovely place to stay. The staff are all helpful and friendly ( when the breakfast waiter insists that you treat the place as your home you know he means it). While you cant get a car to the door, the walk is very short and the staff help with your cases. The food is good, the bedrooms comfortable and the bed is the biggest we have ever slept in at over 7 feet wide. Easy walking to all the places you want to visit in the old city. Would recommend this without hesitation.

Perfect place to explore the old city. As it is located in a pedestrian street, you can park your car in the nearby parking La Ronda. The hotel personnel has no problem bringing your luggage back to the car. The La Ronda area in Quito is now a very safe place with tourist police at every street corner. No problem walking around in the evening to get to a restaurant. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are all alike (most of them have large twin beds). The staff is extremely helpful and they have a good restaurant.

Lovely convenient hotel in the old town within walking distance of the main sights, with excellent facilities and friendly helpful staff. Stylish rooms, with comfortable beds and good quality bathrooms. Nice breakfast and food and drinks available throughout the day. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We had two different rooms as stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip, both were lovely an...

Enjoyed my stay at this comfortable hotel with easy access to the old city. The restaurant serves delicious meals and breakfast is quite good. It is difficult to access by car and so you may need to walk a short distance with your luggage. All in all, a gentle introduction to the old city. Service is fine. My room faced the interior and so I assume I was spared street noise.
