This hotel was a real find in the oldest part of Quito. The Spanish hacienda style accommodations (22 rooms) were beautifully renovated with large rooms and modern bathrooms. The lobby is open to the third floor giving it a lofty feel.
Very quite in the rooms with lots of night life on the street.
The restaurant provided excellent meals and a good wine list. Breakfast is included.
The hotel has easy access to churches, museums and plazas.
The best experience at La Casona was the staff -- warm, friendly and helpful.
After seeing this hotel we checked out of the hotel we were staying at moved here. Well worth the adventure.More
