Description: Cosa Nostra is a "Trattoria - Pizzeria", a typical italian concept. The menu is divided into a pizza section and a pasta section with a large selection of dry pasta and fresh home made pasta like gnocchi, ravioli and lasagna. Cosa Nostra uses only organic vegetables, fresh cheese coming from Cayambe every day and extra vergin olive oil. There are special dishes, like the pizza Norcina which is very gourmet because it has a sauce made of black truffles coming directly from Italy. The desserts of Cosa Nostra are italian winners,in fact Cosa Nostra's tiramisu is prepared with real mascarpone. Cosa Nostra is "Casa Vostra": the thing is that you have to feel home when you come here!!COSA NOSTRA has now tree locations: Baquerizo Moreno E7 -86 y Diego de Almagro, the second location is in Republica del Salvador N34-234 y Moscu. And the third location is in Orellana E11-70 e Isabel La Catolica, near the Hotel Quito.

You know how sometimes you just want a pizza when you're traveling? Cosa Nostra will not disappoint you. The map feature on Trip Advisor designates this place far outside the city, but it's located in New Town, not far from the Marriott. My son and I had dinner, shared crostini, pizza and sorbet. We had one soft drink and one glass of wine. The tab, $26. My son was raving about the pizza (he hadn't had one in three months in the Galapagos). The pizza had a crisp crust and was not soaked in tomato sauce. We also loved the infused oil they provided. The staff was very helpful and made us feel comfortable. The restaurant itself was very inviting from the outside and comfortable inside.

Have to agree with all the other contributors - this place is terrific. They have tons of options, and the service is excellent. The only complaint we could offer is that the salads are skimpy for the price - should be either much lower price or much bigger.

They have a wide variety of pizzas which were very popular with the crowd. Also have both fresh and dried pastas. We had the ravioli and the gnocchi with black truffles and they were awesome - especially the gnocchi. Could have been a tad more al dente, but practically melt in your mouth.

The service was exceptional in that you could barely finish anything and your plate was wisked away. We may go back again today!

We came in with high standards to be matched and Cosa Nostra met all our expectations. Personal service from the owner and waiter and good recommendations for our tastes and portions. Salada tricolore and de mariscos were fresh and well seasoned. We ordered a large pizza divided with two sets of toppings. The toppings were delicious and the crust thin and crispy. We also received a few extras touches, like crushed garlic bread crumbs for the salad and fresh-squeezed lemon juice for our water. Overall an excellent experience - great ambiance, tasty food, excellent service and reasonable prices. We'll be back!

Is been a while that i haven´t visit my friend Simone and his family. I used to have great time and long extended diners with my family and friend, especially with my 2 shareholders. Every single dish is prepared following the italian concept and style, but my favourite mals always start with the best prosciutto focaccia followed by their filleto, and ending with a world class pana cotta for dessert, huumm...already hungry! prices are quite reasonable and you really get value for the money.

hope to come back to Ecuador soon and visit my friends!
