Casa San Marcos was is a beuatiful colonial home and now museum and hotel in Old Town Quito. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The meals were excellent as well as the company of the owner Mayra. The hotel is walking distance from many of the sites in Old Town. It is an hour or longer to the new airport. You may think your cab driver is lost as you travel up the mountain on winding cobblestone streets but you're not. The hotel is worth the drive.
