This hotel has a great location in central Quito. It is near to the Mariscal area where you can find restaurants, public transportation and the Mercado de Artesanias.
We stayed in this hotel during Holly Week and although it was completly full, we get a nice service from the front desk, room service and the restaurant. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the lady from the tourist agency located in lobby: she was rude and unfriendly with us.
Breakfast was a regular american breakfast every day: coffee, eggs, bread, butter and juice from strange local fruits. Rooms are poorly decorated, furniture are old and the carpet looks not been cleaned for long time. Beds are confortable, however the sheets are to small for the bed: we stayed in a room where the sheets came off from mattress all night!!!
The most negative thing about this hotel is that noise from the street come easily over to the rooms that are in the external side. Even we could hear the sound of the pedestrian light all night long, so if you stay in this hotel don't expect to have a good night sleep.More
