My daughter and I loved taking this Chilean cooking class. Not only did we learn a lot but we also had a terrific time. Our instructor Boris was knowledgeable and fun and this class is not to be missed.

We LOVED our cooking class with Boris! He was extrememly friendly and easy to get along with. The trip to the market was very interesting, the food we made was delicious and the pisco sours and wine went down extremely well too. Cant think of a better way to spend the day - one of our favourite days in Chile during our whole trip! Do it!

I attended a wonderful Chilean cooking class in Valparaiso, Chile. Chef Boris Basso Benelli was a star! He took us to the market to shop for our ingredients, we all participated, and then we came to class in a lovely kitchen. we had our aprons and hats and he guided each of us through our recipes for the dinner. we started with Pisco Sours and a wonderful menu. It was delicious. One of our group members had a food issue and Boris was flexible enough to change the menu right at the food market to accommodate him! Boris made it a fun class for all of us, music, some dancing to the shaking of the Piscos, special wine and a prize at the end. It was very special and I would highly recommend it to all who are interested in a fantastic and fun evening.

6 friends from Vancouver Island, BC spent a wonderful evening with Boris cooking up some very tasty Chilean treats. Great evening from start to finish! We planned the menu, shopped for the ingredients and then prepared our yummy feast including the best Pisco Sours ever!! Boris is very funny and had us in stitches nost of the evening. Thanks so much for a fabulous time Boris!

We took a day trip to Valpo on our recent visit to Santiago. Public transit is quite easy - metro from Provensia to west side of red line, where we caught the bus to Valpo. Cab to Artilleria elevator and at top met Boris and our new cooking companions. We were also joined by a special guest - Boris' mother, also visiting from Santiago. After deciding on menu we visited the market to pick up all of our fresh ingredients. This was as much fun as the balance of the day...a real slice of Chilean life. Returned to Boris' kitchen where we were each assigned different parts of dinner preparation. Once the knives were out of the way it was time for pisco sours, cooking, eating and a great time. Highly, highly recommend!
