“a must do activity for Valparaiso”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2012

Boris made our trip to Valparaiso, I'm soooo glad we had a cooking class booked!
Our class had 7 people and was super fun! We started out with a trip to the market to buy ingredients and then we made our way back to the classroom. We talked through the menu and we were all given different tasks to complete, throughout the afternoon we changed jobs and the whole thing came together to form a delicious dinner complete with Pisco Sours!
a must do!

“The BEST!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012 via mobile

Boris is AMAZING!! Easy going, so much fun to learn from. group of 8 tonight and experience was SO much fun. My wife and I knew none of the other six people in the group but quickly became friends. Australia, USA, UK, all fabulous friends. Definitely ask him to make the ginger pisco sours, a great twist on the Chilean classic. Food of course was fantastic....we prepared it! This is a must do when in Valpariaso.

“Wonderful Chilean experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

I highly recommend Chilean Cuisine Cooking Class! My son (a college exchange student here in Valparaiso) and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with Boris. We began by selecting a menu, then went to the markets for the ingredients to prepare our feast! The variety of fresh products was amazing and Boris knew which vendors had the best veggies, meats, etc. We returned to his well equipped kitchen to chop onions, squeeze lemons, make empanadas, salsa, and other traditional dishes, while sipping pisco sours, listening to a great mix of music, and learning how to salsa dance! Our Spanish/English conversation flowed easily and at the end of the day we had gained so much - quality time together, new recipes, new Spanish words, new insights into Chilean culture, and most important, a new friend! ¡Muchas gracias, Boris!

“Lots of fun and educational”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

My family of five did a combination cooking class and winery tour today with Boris. We had lots of fun. Boris was knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. We picked our wine at the vineyard, went to markets to shop for the ingredients, and spent the rest of the day cooking and drinking. It was one of the best days of our trip to Chile. I would highly recommend taking the class.
