Opened in 2015, the Sky Costanera is becoming an icon of Santiago at 300 metres high; the tallest in South America. The views around the city from the top are spectacular. Pick up your viewing guide from the ground floor before you go into the lift - they aren't obvious - located on a shelf under a TV display. There are two viewing floors; the upper floor is open to the sky and accessible via an escalator. As the view is the same, you only need to do one floor. Located in a massive shopping mall, entry is 10,000 peso (7,000 concession). Highly recommended.

Even though the view was somewhat obscured by smoke, it was still incredible. You could see the mountain range outside Santiago and view the glaciers. Looking the other way, San Cristobal, Cierra Santa Lucia and all of the Maipo Valley were spread in front of you! Elevator was quick and efficient. This is a must do during your viist to Santiago.

We arrived at 10:00am just as the attraction was opening. The journey through the ticket booth and security was quick and efficient. This was followed by a friendly welcome and rapid journey to the two viewing platforms (one indoor and the higher roofless panoramic viewing areas) by the express elevator. The views are amazing and help you to appreciate the stunning location and size of Santiago.

The tallest building of South America delivers with great views. Santiago is a huge city with also the nice backdrop of the Andes mountains nearby.
Entrace fee is a bit pricy but for me personally it was still worth it.
The 2 floors gives you superb views. Sometimes the glass offcourse with all that sunshine gives you a challenge making pictures though..
