“Funky & French”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Located in an old hairdressing salon, this delightful restaurant is filled with collectibles of very sort imaginable. We were there for lunch on Sunday, when most places are closed. Good service and good food. No English menu so a small amount of Spanish helps!

“Unique food, unique atmosphere”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

As a converted barbershop / hair salon, the atmosphere of Boulevard Lavaud could hardly be more unique. Many of the accoutrements of the location's previous existence now decorate the restaurant with hair dryers and the like adding character.

The menu offered unique options such as enormous sandwiches and crab casserole, which was very rich and very "crabby." The staff was friendly and there was a nice wine selection.

“Great atmosphere, great food!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Santiago. I take family and friends here every time they are in town. The crepes are outstanding! So good, that I haven't tried anything else!

“Fantastic Restaurant with Eclectic Style”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

My first thoughts upon entering this restaurant were "Wow, this is amazing!". Funky lamps, interesting paintings, perfect lighting, and French music wafting throughout. The ambiance was addictive, and the only thing lacking was a hot date instead of my family. I honestly would have been happy eating a cold-cut turkey sandwich there, but fortunately the restaurant's style was complemented by an extensive menu. We treated ourselves to red wine, heaping plates of fresh fish, and a round of desserts after- all great! The perfect place to go for some otherworldly style before taking advantage of Santiago's happening nightlife.
