“Sushi in Santiago go to Sushi House”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Great menus for non Spanish speaking people, just point to the picture if the item you want, it's ordered. Fresh, well made sushi and rolls. Price is medium, local bears served but when having sushi you have to have saki. Sushi House have a couple to try. A little English spoken it depends on the server.

“Japanese?”
Reviewed May 24, 2011

My fiancé and I have been there one night for a light meal. We enjoy Japanese food a lot and eat it very often. But, it seems Sushi House needs to hire a Japanese chef or manager to bring some better understanding about this cuisine.
We ordered a portion of sashimi (various fishes) and each slice was almost 1 inch thick and the cut wasn´t smooth as cut by a blunt blade. The fish seemed fresh, though.
The chicken teriyaky and the chicken yakitori were served only the meat with the sauce, no vegetables at all. Not even a slice of ginger or horseradish. But, they did bring wasabi!
Plus, we ordered a 9 slices sashimi portion and had 12 slices (and paid for 12). And, they didn´t have the wine we chose from the menu.
We stayed at the hotel right in front of this restaurant and noticed it was always quite quiet. We think, now, we know the reason...
