It's an area with lots of interesting cosy bars and restaurants. It has great architecture and pleasant environment. Perfect for a night out.

It´s a quiet place where you can walk quietly. There is good restaurants and bars, like most of the places in Santiago. And Cerro Santa Lucía is there too.

WHAT I LIKED: The area is no more than a couple of streets filled with bars, pubs, restaurants and a few garment stores. Super nice place to have something to eat and drink. A relaxing area with a bit of a flair for Soho in NYC. Try Cafe Wonderful and restaurants El Biografo and Les Assassins.

WHAT I DISLIKED: Too small and short. This is one of the areas I wish could expand...

This is my favorite area in all of Santiago. I live in Valpo and every time I go to Santiago I make a point of wandering around this area for the cute shops and cafes. On top of that, Lastarria is close to Emporio de la Rosa, the famous ice cream place, and the beautiful Parque forestal as well as the popular going out area of Bellavista.

It would be a shame to miss this spot!

A really pleasant, small neighbourhood with some great restaurants and bars to be found. Calmer than nearby Bellavista, but a short walk away from it if you fancy something more exciting. Some interesting museums around here too, as well as a park.
