De Blasis Bed & Breakfast

Certificate of Excellence

Exceptional in every way, and a worthy recipient for our first perfect review! Andres has put together an amazing place to stay, the best we visited in our 2.5 months in South America. The breakfast is superb, rooms and bathrooms are brand new and comfortable, and Andres is extremely knowledgeable and helpful about his city and country (and speaks excellent English). We can't recommend it highly enough

I stayed in De Blasis for 15 days and it really felt like home. The service is amazing, Andres is the best host you can ask for, he´s always available for tips about Santigo and Chile and always ready to make guest happy. The staff is very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and friendly, we even made bbqs there with the staff and some guests.

The B&B has been completely restored and although it has the charm of a vintage house, everything inside is new , the rooms are very nice, comfortable beds, LCD TV, everything you need and it´s very clean too.

Love the breakfast (it´s included) with real coffe, juice, fresh bread, ham, chesse, jam, yogurt, cereal, eggs, avocado, fruits, etc.

The location is excellent, 2 minutes walk from the metro station and although it is located in a beautiful quiet street, is surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. Very entertaining area to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are different, there are some with very nice balconies, choose according to your needs, yo...

My wife and I spent 16 days in Chile and used De Blasis as our "basecamp" for exploring Santiago and surrounding area. We slept there for 10 of the 16 days and thoroughly enjoyed the informal and personal service from Andres and his staff. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit salad, bread, cheese, juice and good coffee. In front of the house and in the backyard there were tables and chairs where we could enjoy sitting outside in the warm summer weather.

If you accept that this is a B&B and do not expect a 24 hrs reception, it is a perfect place to stay. The surrounding area has many good restaurants and you feel perfectly safe walking back to the hostel. The location is also perfect, 5 minutes from the closest underground station Manuel Montt and the bustling street of Providencia.

We would not hesitate to stay in De Blasis next time in Santiago.

This is probably the best location you can get in Santiago. In the heart of Providencia, a 2min walk from the Metro, in a very quiet street with beautiful houses. The B&B is brand new, totally restaured, and so is everything in it (beds, LCDs, etc...). But what makes it really great is the personal touch and friendliness of Andres, the owner, and his team; they really always go the extra mile for everything you need!

I stayed here with my family for three nights and it was wonderful, not only was the service great (we were coming to and from the airport at all hours) but breakfast was home made with assorted fruit, tea, hot bread, ham, cheese and coffee. The B&B is situated on a beautiful peaceful road so you can sleep with the windows open and there are even a few rooms with balconies to enjoy. Not the mention the location was perfect for visiting restaurants, bars and local shopping in the area. I will be returning soon!

Newly renovated building kept very clean with 5 star quality beds. Shared baths but no big deal in a set up like this. Quiet street with lots of dining options. Andres is always available to help with direction in santiago. Just for fun threaten him with a negative review and watch him have a heart attack!

The recently opened B&B has everything you need and more: A very good breakfast, a central but quiet location (you can sleep with open windows), a very well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and an inviting common area. A lot of good restaurants, shops and parks are in walking distance and public transport is just around the corner.
Most important though are the people working there. They really go out of their way with helping you wherever they can. Andres, the owner, is one of the most dedicated hosts we have met on our many travels.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5 for 10 days and were absolutely happy.
