My wife and I were brought here by our local tour guide, Folke, from Santiago Adventures, during our Santiago tour. We had asked to see Barrio Italia, and it was lunch time, so here is where we arrived. The waitress spoke very little English but Folke interpreted for us as we ordered. He himself had never been here so it was an adventure waiting to happen for all of us. We were not disappointed. Folke said he would return himself in the future as he enjoyed lunch as well.. The atmosphere is quaint (see pictures) and the staff was friendly. Lunch consisted of a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, with avocados and chips. Very well presented and enjoyable. I wished I had tried the beef sandwich but it was too late as I looked through the menu after I ordered. Definitely for locals and that is good for us.
