Yesterday we went to the Juncal Glacier with Andes explora. Fantastic. Our wonderful guide Carmello was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The scenery was unbelievable. We started in brilliant sunshine and walked back in gentle snow. One more thing marked off the bucket list!!!

Wonderful experience! We did the "Black Lagoon" day hike with a small group of 3. The views of the lagoons were amazing and the hike was great. Really loved that the hike was off the beaten path. Tomas was a great, friendly and knowledgeable guide, and managed to take some great photos for us. Great experience all round!

... exciting mountain ride with many switchbacks and nervous turns, many without guard rails ... as our guide said when introducing our minibus driver, "Our driver is Christan, today our lives will be in his hands, he is a good Christian." At the top, 3,000 meters (9,200 feet) we saw spectacular views of the mountains and best of all a dozen or so giant condors swooping back and forth

My first post on TripAdvisor! Cristian picked me up promptly at 715AM as he said he would, was very nice, informative and fun to be around. The trip itself was long, largely due to the construction that held us up along the way. The day went as follows: 3 hour drive to Aconcagua, 30 min stop at the Argentina/Chilean immigration border, 20 minutes at the natural lime bridge in Mendoza Argentina, 3 hour round trip hike to the bridge at Aconcagua, with a GORGEOUS view, and commentary from Cristian, Stopover at the oldest ski resort in Argnetina, which has the sickest view of the mountains, then 3 hours back. This trip delivered exactly what it said it would.

note: The elevation is a steady 10,000FT (3,200 meters), so some might experience slight headaches, dizziness, etc. from not being used to the altitutde.
