The area is beautiful, and the street is tree lined. The building has a large entrance lobby and there is a concierge on duty who can help you store luggage for example. Read carefully the apartment description since 2 bed rooms sleep 4 really meant one large bed room, and a small bed room with a single bed (and not much space for anything else), with the 4th person having to sleep on the sofa. The TV cable is all Spanish. The kitchen is functional with colour coordinated micro-wave, toaster etc. However the kitchen equipment, as in kitchen knife is very dull - slicing raw meat took a lot of effort. But if you eat out anyway, what's the impact? There is no Air Con but you really don't need it - the balcony can be opened up if necessary, and the evening air cools everything down quickly. The towels provided are OK at best but that is probably standard S American quality. Taking a shower required some attention due to the shower curtain would be all over you in the small walk-in shower. The excellent location (10 mins walk to subway) trumps the other negatives easily. Also if you speak Spanish, the experience would be much better!
