We went with friends to have a beer and a sandwich.
The waiter started laughing at us when we ordered fries and the biggest sandwich for each one of us.
When the order came in we realized why he was laughing. The sandwiches were HUGE. No one of the group was able to ate it all up.

Great time though.

My wife and I stayed in a hotel close to La Fuente for some nights.

During this time, we had a meal (lunch or dinner) in the restaurant three times. OK, it looks more like a bar than a restaurant, but the food is very good.

We really liked their burguers (the big one is giant! At least for two hungry people!). And the chorrillanas were a spectacle!

Today we decided to have lunch at La Fuente because it was near our hotel and on the way to a museum we were visiting.

On the whole, it was just fine, not fabulous and not terrible. My Caesar salad had iceberg lettuce instead of the traditional romaine, but the lettuce was fresh, and there was a huge amount of it. Very light on croutons. The chicken breast was cooked ok. Not delicious due to lack of seasonings, but not tough. Light on Parmesan cheese also. The option of limonchetta on the salad made for a light dressing.

Then there were my daughters' sandwiches. They ordered the regular size, and they were shocked by how huge the sandwiches were. Way too much bread!!!! They could have shared one sandwich as we later saw others doing.

So nothing fabulous, but an ok option for lunch.
