Do go there, a youthful place with several reataurants and on the go stand up meal places. Worth a visit, specially if you are in high spirits, or have visitors from abroad. The only negative point is a very expensive parking, which cannot be justified, and makes you think twice about returning here.

tucked into an old neighborhood, you wouldn't expect to find countless restaurants and shops. It's all very hip while retaining a little of Old Santiago's charm

This is the place to be! It seems to me the best moment is at the end of the day, when it's relatively calm... you can watch people as they come and go, drink something nice, and latter on eat at a good restaurante. Relaxing :)

An outdoor shopping square catered to tourists as it's full of souvenir shops and waiters trying to usher you into their overpriced restaurants. There's nothing of cultural or historical significance here, but it could be good for those who are more comfortable around other foreigners and prefer being in a safe, clean area, as opposed to seeing some of the more "real" sectors of Santiago.

Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Very active from early evening until very late. Open on Sundays, too.
