“Wonderful, artisanal dining in Providencia”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

This was an amazing place. The food which is very traditional in both substance and preparation was amazing. The service despite the fact that we were a large group was precise, friendly and prompt without at all feeling rushed. The atmosphere and setting were open, comfortable and relaxing. This is a not to be missed gem in a great part of town.

“What a menu”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

This is without a doubt the most unusual dining experience we had ever had. The food was wonderful, and the staff explained the history of these foods created from ancestral heritage of the regions of Chile.

“Amazing surprise!”
Reviewed May 11, 2014 via mobile

I went with my family for a Sunday lunch. The food is amazing! This is a very different and educational experience, in which you get to taste and learn about different ingredients. Every dish has an explanation regarding history and culture. Plus, the place and service are amazing. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth it!

“Interesting restaurant!”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

The "Peumayen" is definitley a nice place: very good service and beautiful interior. It is not really "ancestral food" in terms of being authentic, but many dishes are based on ancestral products. The dishes are well presented on stone platters and taste very good. All in all a very interesting experience.

“Unique and Delicious”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

It's rare to come across the menu items found at Peumayen, whether in Chile or elsewhere. I visited a few different times and each time confirmed that this is one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
