I had never been to a PF Chang's before, so I did not know what to expect. The decoration blows you away, nice comfy chairs and music at a decent volume. The menu seemed to me a little pretentious and it was indeed. The night before we'd had Chinese from "El tigre Dorado" delivered for dinner and let me tell you, their Cantonese chicken is way better in costs 75% less. The place is great to gather with friends and celebrate birthdays or even for an after office drink, but the food is nothing to talk about. Typical US refill policy is always welcome. There are other ways to tell you the place is closing other than putting the chairs on top the tables like they did. Having so many good Chinese restaurants in Santiago, I would choose a different place to have some kinda oriental kinda food.

US visitors will instantly recognize the look of this restaurant as PF Chang's, with the huge Terracotta Horses straddling the entryway.

Inside, the place is equally recognizable and comfortable. The food is typical Chang's, but we noticed that the entrees were a little overdone.

I like PF Chang's, but there are too many other local places in Santiago that are much better. If you have to have Americanized Chinese food that doesn't quite live up to your local US Chang's, then go. Otherwise try La Perla across the street or a more local store.

In a city that doesnot do service well, this place is a godsend. The secret? Female wait staff. I found this place in The mallof Emiratesin Dubai and was pleased to find the Dynamite Shripms ancd Mongolian beef the same high quality in the under performing gastronomic region of Santiago

Following the architecture line PF Chang will not disappoint you! Location is great and the menu items are well priced. Also it`s good to mention that it`s a Celiac friendly menu as well.
The only down side is that still waiting for the alcohol license after almost 5 months to be opened ;(

As gringos living in Chile, we were so excited to see PF Chang's open, since there are few good Chinese restaurants in Santiago. We have gone twice. I agree with one of the previous reviewers that management needed to pay more attention when the restaurant opened - some of the details that characterize PF Chang's quality in the US were lacking on the first visit. However, on our second visit, it appears they have largely sorted out the teething problems, and the service and quality were on par with US standards. As of mid-January 2013, they are still awaiting their alcohol permit, but everything else seems to be consistent with the excellence associated with the brand - great food, rich flavors, attractive presentations, and a very upscale environment. Yeah!
