This hotel is 15min away from the restaurant area of the city across two highway off ramps. Dangerous if crossing at night. No room service here even though there is a room service menu. No drinks or mini bar even though martinis are on the room service list.

Daytime staff are friendly and efficient with service. Night time staff struggle with English and you need to ask for everything 2-3 times.

Interior is bland with no personality just like the zero flavor breakfast. Rooms which face west have a great view. Est facing rooms look over the highway.

The pool is next to the driveway and visable from the driveway and lobby. Dissapointed since a relaxing swim pool was advertised.

Pass on this hotel unless you need only a bed to crash for the night.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in mid-November as part of an Argentina/Chile tour. This contemporary hotel takes some getting used to. The hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. One drawback is the lack of liquor license, and they've been open since August, I believe! If you buy your own liquor, you CANNOT sit in the lounge and enjoy it because this is not allowed. . . that leaves your room which we didn't find too interesting. The bartender did give us wine glasses to take upstairs, and an ice bucket!!

We stayed there mid November 2012. The room was clean and had a lovely view of the mountains, but did not come with tea and coffee making facilities (only available in a room without the view) and a morning cup of tea delivered to the room was not available. We arranged for a jug and cups to be provided in the room and then bought our own tea and milk. Room service was efficient. Breakfast was limited in choice compared with the Asian hotels in which we often stay, but still good. The coffee was really awful, whether or not we used the pot or paid extra for a latte/cappuccino to be made at the time. The liquor licence still had not arrived, which meant have drinks with friends outside the hotel (plenty of places nearby). All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The walk to Tobalaba Metro is 1.6km and allows cheap train travel to Santiago city centre. The expensive designer shops in Alonso de Cordova are close to the hotel and the Parque Arauco shopping mall is a pleasant 2.3km walk away.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a view of the mountains

While I realize that this hotel is realtively new, I was surprised by a few things that still needed to be worked on. 1) No liquor license, so no bar or mini bar 2) Some times there were issues getting hot water in the rooms 3) Oddly positioned pool (next to driveway and bar), which was cold. Otherwise the rooms and location are great.

I stayed at the Atton Vitacura for a weekend (friday to Monday) in November 2012. I found the infrastructure quite nice - bright, modern lobby, sunny restaurant, great views of the city overlooking the golf course, mountains in the background. My room was quite large and comfortable (with the great view). The location is pretty good, a little outside the business of Las Condes and Providencia, but a ten-minute walk to several good restaurants. There were a few problems, though. I was staying with friends in several rooms. Several rooms did not have hot water, even a day or two after complaining. The bar/restaurant is not licensed to sell alcohol - dampening the urge to meet in the common areas. Two friends, a couple, were not able to get a queen/king bed, though it was reserved as such (and all us single guests had them!).

The personnel was very friendly and seemed to try hard, but these are basic problems that should have been ironed out shortly after opening, now several months ago.

Dear Sir,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your observations and experiences regarding your stay at Atton Vitacura.
Rest assured we took good note of the different points raised and took accions accordingly.

Regarding the autorization to sell alcohol , we are waiting for the go ahead from the Vitacura Municipality which handles all the related matters.

Once again thank you for your feedback

I am compelled to write about this hotel as in my opinion it has the potential of being a great hotel!

The hotel is brand new, has only been open 2 months, is located in a great area in Santiago, the physical aspects of the hotel are really wonderful and due to a lack attention to detail misses the mark of getting 4 stars from me.

Upon checking in, the place is impressive! I was directed to have lunch as my room was not ready and that's where the experience went down hill big time! The dinning room service was really horrible, waited 40 minutes just for a cup of hot tea and to place my order. The order was wrong, I had to ask over and over again for silly things like salt and pepper, sugar, milk for the tea and when I asked for ketchup I was served "take out" packets! This restaurant is really beautiful, the bar impressive and has a nice outdoor dining area...to be served ketchup packets was just plain wrong in this wonderful setting. When I asked for a glass of wine, the waiter said we don't have it??? It's on the menu i said and then found out they have no liquor licence! WOW!!! I was shocked! Yeah, I get it...huge investment to build the hotel and a rush to generate revenue... which means open the doors without an important piece of hospitality in a country that has some of the best wine in the world!

As the hotel is really beautiful, large bright rooms, great bed, internet connection works, good work space in room, etc.! However, little things like the safe was not working, the closet doors were stuck with paint, when opened by maintenance now they don't close, the tub spout sprays water all over the place, the staff didn't replace in room coffee, sugar and bottled water everyday, workers were banging on sheet metal outside my room in the morning causing me to wake up, some days they forgot to resupply shampoo, the tile floor in bathroom was dirty, the list goes on and on.

The gym has a simple weight system that seems to be on the cheap side of equipment, no free weights, no lockers and again...with just a little attention to details the level could be elevated to match the full potential of this beautiful hotel!

This point is just plain dumb...I wanted breakfast in my room one day and was told, sorry we don't do room service in the morning! WHAT!!! Let's see if I have this right...the restaurant is fully staffed, the kitchen too, how hard can it be to provide room service? To not have room service in the morning does not provide hospitality and they miss out on a potential revenue stream!!! Oh well...

When i addressed my issues with an assistant manager I received lots of apologies, she acknowledged they have problems and did tend to my problems.

I will also say that a front desk clerk by the name of Connie went above and beyond to help me with a an issue and other employees just apologize for the problems and don't seem to care!

My hope is that management will see this review, they should have friends or family stay in this hotel to reveal the pitfalls and work on the small things to bring this hotel up to a higher level of service!
