It's simply an Ibis hotel. Very basic, poor breakfast (as everyone have stated here).
The service from the front-desk is pretty bad and when we have a complain they just stare at you and nod (without giving you any way to solve the problem).

Well, our stay was ok, with a lot of stress about the breakfast.

We have stayed at Ibis in our trip to Santiago. The location is good, close to Manuel Montt metro station and walking distance from good restaurants/bars Astrid y Gaston, Aqui esta Coco, Liguria bar, etc.

It is far from the Isadora Goynechera and the Nueva Costanera where you will find some other nice restaurants, but no more than 4.000 pesos taxi ride. This is because there is no Metro there.

I would definitely stay there again. It is the Ibis standard you already know.

Note on breakfast: it seems to be fair a breakfast at USD 6 per person, but if you are on a budget trip and have few more minutes, the best option is to have your breakfast at a bakery in the Manuel Montt metro station. Cheaper and much better!

Ibis is the same everywhere, but here the staff was extraordinarily friendly, had all the information requested, looked up details on the internet for me , made phonecall to a museum to chek times, organized transport to the airport etc. The location is very good, 2 blocçs for metro Manuel Montt, close to Costanera shopping mall, lots of restaurants nextdoor, but very loud if you want to have the winds open. If closed no problem at all.

The localization is very good, close to subway. The hotel is new and the service is good.
I stayed 1 week and in some days the breakfast was very full, maybe due the hour or it was high station, many people was going out to skiing or tour.

Room Tip: Standard room, no surprises.

Being at Ibis you can anticipate many details of the hotel, as the Accor chain tends to keep the same pattern and quality for their hotels. So, I will just point good and bad points I found out staying at Ibis Providencia for 3 nights.
Good: location, very close to Manuel Montt subway station, walking distance to some good restaurants, good air con, comfy bed, internet working ok in the room, breakfast with options (though coffee was not tasty at all), room and hotel look new.
Bad: very long check in, though recepcionist was very nice; dust in the room; noise from outside traffic, as it is located within 2 main avenues. Even with air con we could hear some noise.
All in all, the good points overcome the bad ones.

Good Hotel. Good Location, Good Bed, bedroom, air, cleaness, very new and comfortable. The Coffee have many options, but is the same everyday. The room is a little small, but have good WiFi and is very silence, good to sleep.

My only question is that there is no pool, nor gym, or terrace to view the Andes Mountains... But, you will be happy in choose this place. :)

Room Tip: The tip is about earthquake, that is better the lowest levels, but the view of the highest is amazin...

My wife and I stayed at Ibis hotel for 3 nights.Since this Hotel is so close to bus terminal, doesn't matter with floor and room you stay we hear so much noise during day and night.Receptionists can not speak English at all which create a huge problem for communicating with them. Not water for almost half an hour everyday between 8-9 AM.The only positive thing is Breakfast which is fairly good but you have to pay for it.

Room Tip: Not matter which side or floor you hear lots of noise.
