I stayed here for one night in October 2012. Clean, standard-Ibis, quiet, tidy, free internet, but there was some confusion when I checked in regarding tax. It seemed that if I paid in cash in US dollars, I wouldn't be liable to pay any tax on the room. Or something. It all seemed a bit odd. But other than that (and the first room I went into smelling of stale smoke, and I'm a non-smoker, so I asked to switch and they moved me immediately), it was fine. Wasn't there long enough to encounter any problems!

The hotel is standard Ibis, the rooms are nice and clean - same with bathroom. The staff will help you in anyway they can, and there is allways one person that has good english skills for thos that dont speak spanish.

You will find lots of resturants and bars nearby, the bellavista area is allso pretty close (15minutes walk).

We had some issues when checking out, even thoug all payments from hotels.com was ok they managed to charge me for the rooms once more. It was straighten out pretty fast and can probably be noted down as a language problem.

They also have a limited number of parking spaces in the garage below the hotell. If it is full there is a public parking facility real closeby.

Nice staff, nice location and very stable wifi(at least when I was there).

Room Tip: I would try to chose a room as high as possible due to traffic noise

Well run, average hotel. The buffet for breakfast and dinner actually one of the better options for that area. Saw some rave reviews here of the French bistro across the street but we had overpriced sandwiches you couldn't bite through with a chain saw.

Probably the best budget hotel chain. All average and in good basic order. Typical Ibis, wherever you are, they are all the same. Little clean fresh rooms with no fuss. The location is good, except for views out of the windows. Average service, no support with luggage when checking in and out. Under average breakfast. In total it is a good budget hotel / chain if you do not expect luxury. The best option if you have a short 2 to 3 days stopover in Santiago for a budget price and want to explore the city from here.
