This was an amazing experience. We were able to see the house as Neruda lived in it. Such a peaceful and lovely place. The nearby neighborhood is super cool too.

Not only was La Chascona easy to get to(not far from San Cristobal Hill) but it was a nice change of pace from the busy city. It was interesting learning about Pablo Neruda, and the audio tour was very helpful. There was so much quirky stuff to see, and because of his travels, it was from all over the world!

Pablo Neruda's home is full of memorabilia, and occupies many rooms on different floors, connected by a mix of stairs and corridors. It was difficult to navigate but we managed - if you are a fan of the poets, this is a must see on your trip.

The home is full of eclectic art. I enjoyed it more than my husband - it was wonderful

The poet, Pablo Neruda's home is full of memorabilia, and occupies many rooms on different floors, connected by a mix of stairs and corridors. Not easy negotiated if you are old or infirm - but certainly worth the effort. It can be very crowded.

Full of eclectic art, a veritable potpourri. You don't have to like it all, to enjoy it.

Highly recommended.
