It's nice to go there for a visit but don't expect traditional or good food there... it's meant tourists and tourists only. There is a decent "Irish" pub that broadcasts rugby from time to time. If you are not short of money, you can find nice lapizlazuli jewelry. If you want to see some Chilean lifetime go away and walk half a block from there and drink a bloody litre bottle of beer outside.

Not a bad little area of cafes and bars. Could maybe do with a fresh coat of (spray) paint, but overall a nice area to explore.

When I was in Santiago, I was here about three or four times. It's a nice area known for its nightlife. Very crowded, lots of bars and restaurants and an artisan market. That said, if you're interested in experiencing Santiago's culture, this is not the place to go. Everything here is really "Americanized" and overpriced... but if that's what you're looking for, then this place is for you!

Known for its Bohemian history, artists can't afford to live here now. Like so many gentrified areas, Bellavista is awash with cafes, bars and craft stores.

This is currently one of the hot spots for Chileans to hang out in. It is full of different pubs, restaurants and dance clubs at night and different artesian shops during the day
Drinks are a little expensive, the food is not as good as expected in the Indian restaurant.
